Some may say that Nathan and I went overboard with Christmas this year, but we don't think so. Each and every one of you deserved so much more! It all comes from the heart no matter what the price tag was. We hope that all of you enjoy your gifts and this wonderful holiday season!
Nathan and I had an amazing time Christmas Eve with our Waldron family. I adored baby Dylan and am sorry I stole him all night. I couldn't help it ;-D. Nathan and I very much enjoyed our gifts and spending time with everyone! We can't wait for next year!
Christmas Eve Night was interesting for us. We drove straight to my parents after we got done at the Waldron's house. It was fun spending time with my sister, her boyfriend and Mike until late into the night. But it was a very long night, sleeping on an air mattress in the dining room.
Christmas day was an early but fun adventure. We got up at 6am to open presents with the kids. They were so tired they weren't even excited at first, but that didn't last long. After opening gifts, my mom, sister and I made breakfast for the family. Then we played around and helped with lunch/dinner. Nathan helped my dad and Mike build all sorts of stuff with Timmy's K'nex, while the kids and I played racing games on their new Wii system.
Overall Nathan and I had a great Christmas. But not we are tired and must get some sleep before our long days at work tomorrow.
We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May all you get home safe and enjoy the holidays!
We love you!

Our House - Hopefully
The first house that Nathan and I looked at was wonderful in size but after a second look we "ran away without a second glance." It turns out that the house needed a lot more work than we first thought and it also had a lot of foundation problems. We were slightly disappointed but not discouraged.
We spent that evening looking up houses online and found one that we absolutely fell in love with. It did not appear in the pictures to need any work and came with a lot of land. It was also rather new - built in just 2004.
Right away Nathan and I made an appointment to go look at the home. We just saw it today and it was just like the pictures. We were in love lol. The owners were actually home when we saw it and they were able to give us more of a personal tour and insite into the home.
The house is a one level three bedroom two bathroom, with a family room, living room with a fire place, dining room, laundry room and spacious kitchen. My favorite part of the house is the master bedroom which has a large (HUGE) walk-in closet and also a huge bathroom with a garden tub, large vanity, and a large glass shower separate from the tub. It also has a large front deck and a smaller deck in back that needs replaced. It comes with two car off street parking and a 2.329 acre yard. There also is a koi pond (which we probably won't use) and lots of storage. The house is just under 2000 sq.ft.
The owners are currently thinking about taking it off the market for a little while because they are not sure when they will be moving, but they know it will be in the next couple of months. Which for Nathan and I is absolutely perfect because our lease for our apt isn't up for another 5 months. If we put down a small deposit of only a couple hundred bucks, the owners will "hold" the house and not put it back on the market until they are moving out. Then the actual contract will be drawn and the house will officially be ours. Now some people think this may be a bad idea, and I can see why some would think that. But we would be drawing up a contract and everything would be legal and there would be no backing out. If we found another place, we could get our earnest money back and the house would go back on the market. Also if they find out they can't move then we would get our earnest money back and go back to looking for a different place. For us this is a great thing because we know we love this house and don't want it to go to someone else. Also waiting a couple months to actually purchase it will give us time to save up more money and move out of our apt.
Also the owners would be throwing in a lot of furniture with the house if it is sold at full asking price of $107,000 which is a couple thousand UNDER our budget. Because they would be moving to another state and they had a lot of expensive heavy furniture they would be willing to leave it with the house if the full asking price was paid. That would include a huge TV with a gigantic entertainment center, a large fishtank, and a large workout home gym system. Also all appliances would stay with the home as well including washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and stove. With all those things included we would be set and wouldn't have to buy anything for the house. So for $107,000 we would be getting a lot more for our money than they would be getting out of it, but they just don't want to pay to have all that shipped over to another state. Which is awesome for us.
Below are pictures of the kitchen, living room and family room.
Wish us luck with getting the home :-D

Our First Tree
Last Christmas Nathan and I were together we lived with his friend Jeremy and didn't have a 'real' Xmas tree. Jeremy had set up this little two foot thing so we had a little something.
This year I went out and bought a 6 ft pop up tree as a surprise for Nathan. My mom had given us a bunch of ornaments and I went out and bought some more and some lights. While Nathan was working I spend all day setting up the tree, decorating it, and putting the presents underneath it. He laughed when he came home and saw all the work I had done. He loved it. It is not the best tree for Christmas but hopefully when we have an actual house, and not a tiny apartment, then we can get a real tree.

Nate & I
Nathan and I have been married now for 145 days. We love married life. We spend a lot of time watching movies and spending time with our families. We are some pretty goofy people. I love taking pictures of dumb stuff and thought I'd share some of Nate's and my moments... Enjoy ;-P
My Waldron Family
In July I officially became a part of the crazy and wonderful Waldrons. I love every single person in my new family! They all have little things that sets them apart from the rest. You guys are wonderful and I love you!
My Family
My family isn't necessarily about blood ties... It's about the love we have for each other. My sister and I are from my mom's first marriage. Timmy and Daniel are from my mom's second marriage. And Amber and Mike are two of the foster kids that my parents are in the process of adopting. But where we came from doesn't matter. We are brothers and sisters and Mom and Dad. We love each other and that is all that matters :-D. I wouldn't trade any of them!
Tomorrow Is the Day
Tomorrow is when Nathan and I finally meet with the bank to see if we can afford the house we are currently looking at... we are so excited and nervous!!
The house we have found definitely needs a lot of work but Nate and I fell in love with it! It is so perfect for the two of us! It is a three bedroom two bathroom house with attached two car garage and 800 sq.ft deck! It comes on .24 acres and has an unfinished basement.
(if we get the house)
Nathan and I have big plans for the house. First thing we would do would be to completely redo the kitchen and sliding glass door to the deck. We would also be recarpeting the rooms. After a couple of years we hope to redo both the master and guest bathrooms. After we can afford a huge remodeling job, we want to fix up the basement and add two bedrooms, a work -out room, and an entertainment room down there.
We also want to fence-in the yard and fix the deck floor.
I know it sounds like a lot of work but Nathan and I are up for it. We know we have our families to help with some of the grunt work and also friends who would also be willing to help.
We absolutely love this house and really hope to get it! We have already painted the walls and fixed it up in our minds, and we hope to make it a reality!
It is done
I am finally done with Christmas Shopping! *sighs* It was a lot of hard work but it was so much fun! I really hope all of you enjoy the season and your gifts!! It took a lot of time, effort and thought as to what to buy each special person for the holidays, but we did it :-D ... I am so glad to be done... Everything is wrapped, tagged and placed in bags with tons of tissue paper ;-P Bring on Christmas!!!!
Now I just need to clean up and put away the wrapping paper etc. and get out the tree and decorations :-D
